My New Car!!



YES! #3 HUGE GOAL of 2015 knocked off the list yesterday!

I took all of your advice and went with a small SUV and FREAKING LOVE IT! The panoramic sunroof is bad ass but the best part...I paid for this baby 100% with Beachbody money!

This signifies so much more to me than the ability to treat myself...yesterday I was sitting in the dealership while they put my new plates on and I started to cry.Just a little over 2 years ago I sat there on my bedroom floor crying because I didn't know where the money for diapers would come from for my beautiful daughter and PRAYED there was a way to provide her with a better life. I got my own health under control and found my passion for helping others along the way that ended up COMPLETELY changing the course of my life...I sat there crying yesterday because I KNOW that ANYTHING I put on that dream board can become a reality AND I get to show my daughter than she will NEVER have to put a cap on her own dreams.

So thank you Beachbody! For giving me this opportunity, giving me my life back, making all my dreams come true AND believing in me

How I Get Stuff Done!



I get asked this questions ALOT.."KC, how to you do everything you do in a day? It seems impossible and I don't know how you do it!"  I'm sure we have all felt like there aren't enough hours in a day.

Its simple!  The secret to productivity isn't doing more, it's simplifying- clearing away unnecessary obstacles the take up time to make the most out of everyday.  Becoming effectient in doing the things you MUST do makes more time for the things that make you happy!

Here are 5 steps to maximize your time so can stress less and enjoy your free time:

DREAM BIG, plan small.

Whether your goal is to get a big promotion, learn a new language, become a top 10 coach, or run your first marathon, you need to know break it down and know where to begin!  Identify your big goal and break it down into smaller, more manageable goals.  Set a few daily tasks that if completely consistently every single day over time will get you to your goal. big promotion--> write a list of on-the-job accomplishments you need to achieve.  Every journey begins with the first step. TAKE YOURS!

Toss your TO-DO list

Create a daily and weekly TO-DO list instead!  To your daily list, pull 3-5 items off your weekly list that you are able finish by the end of the day.  This will set you up for success!  You know you can complete these small tasks and when you look at your completed list, you will have a sense of accomplishment- something you don't get from a HUGE impossible TO-DO list.
I also recommend having a monthly and quarterly list which you break down into smaller tasks to add to your weekly and daily lists.  Make sure that at least 2 of the items on your daily list come from #1 (your big goal)
Also, every morning I have what I call my "Power Hour".  In this hour I complete 10 tasks that are non-negotiables to make my business group and thrive.  I get these done FIRST and out of the way...this way, they is no possibility of me not completing them.

Eat that frog

You know the thing you put off, and put off and put off...day after day because its difficult, tedious or uncomfortable?  Make it your priority!  Move it to your number one task PRONTO.  Once you have accomplished the "impossible task", you will feel like you can do ANYTHING!  Out with procrastination, in with getting things done.

Be a Unitasker

I used to be the QUEEN of multitasking, or at least I thought I was. But really, I just ended up with a bunch of half assed, half completed tasks on the go!  Talk about exhausting.  Multitasking is not the best way to maximize your time.When you switch from one task to another, it actually takes time for your brain to familiarize itself with what you are doing.  Choose a task (off your list) and complete, then move onto the next.  Prioritizing will be key here.

Get Your Shit Together

When you disorganized, you waste ALOT of time.  Take the time to learn app on your smart phone or computer that will help you organize your to-do list.  Take the time to declutter your space and THROW STUFF OUT.  Write stuff down, make lists, file important documents away and label them properly for quick access.   Have a calendar where to write down important dates, times, appts, etc.
I dedicate 15 minutes a day to decluttering my workspace, putting away items from the day, writing out my to-do for the next day and wrapping up ideas and thoughts.

Clean Eating Butter Chicken




Butter chicken is hands down on of my FAVORITE meals but loaded with calories!  And the premise sauce in the jar has SO MANY mystery ingredients or complete junk. Here is a clean eating butter chicken recipe...same great taste but much more friendly for your meal plan and yummy ingredients from the Earth πŸ’ͺ🏼πŸ₯—

Clean Eating Butter Chicken

1 pound chicken breast cubed
1 medium onion chopped
1 6oz can tomato paste
1 can coconut milk (full fat)
2 tsp coconut oil
4 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp ginger minced
1 tsp each coriander, cumin, cardamom
1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Juice of 1 lime
Heat oil in pan over medium heat, cooked onions until tender. Add spices and chicken breast and cook until chicken is cooked. Add coconut milk and tomato paste. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve over Bismati rice and top with lime juice
Makes 4 servings
*21 day fix: 1 yellow rice, 1/2 green, one blue and one red!*

Weekend Warrior


OK I know it's really late...better late than never right?! I just finished Body Beast and a little max 30...BUT when I was workout I had some time to think...
It's Saturday night at 10:30 and 80% of my friends and people I know are out doing what we always did. I have ALWAYS been a Weekend Warrior...BUT I've changed the way I crush it.
I was THAT girl...center of attention, out Friday AND Saturday, smoking, drinking, drugs, partying my face off until we couldn't anymore then wake up feeling horrible and depressed...EVERY WEEKEND. There was always an excuse. I think my insecurities about myself really fuelled the whole thing..when I was out doing my thing I felt alive, I felt like a somebody, I felt like anything that was bothering me was masked and I could hide it even just for a little while. THE WORST PART though is I KNEW I was meant for bigger things and was better than that but I wasn't willing to put in the effort to make myself better, staying comfortable was easier.
This is the part that blows my mind...tonight I realized something...those feelings I tried to cover up by removing myself from my mind (literally) don't exist anymore. I don't have that NEED that can't be filled...i finally can live free from addictions and insecurities.
Don't get me wrong...I am still the same girl. I love to have fun, laugh, be with friends, FEEL ALIVE..but this time it's different. My health gives me a HIGH, no jokes...When I push myself to the point of throwing up because I am working so hard, not because I took too many shots. When I wake up super sore because I am training my body and not because I am struggling with a hangover. When I get a rush of vibrancy because I have endorphins, nothing else...ITS A BEAUTIFUL THING.
I will NEVER regret trading those nights for these nights. Tomorrow I get to wake up BETTER, STRONGER, HAPPIER and for once I AM in control over how I feel. STRONG is SEXY...failing your arms around on the dance floor completely convinced your the sexier girl alive IS NOT wink emoticon SO CHEERS and CONGRATS to all of you sticking to your goals, creating a beautiful life for yourself...YOU SHOULD BE SOOO SOO PROUD! it's not always easy but its damn worth it.
